Originally from Texas, in the 1960’s, Tallie lived in New Mexico. “Their mountains and skies overtook me, and I painted all four seasons”.
Upon moving back to Texas, “the trees and the prairie and the skies and the clouds became an everlasting inspiration”.
“To this day, living near Smiley Meadow in Lamar County, I am inspired by the last unplowed land that was once the great inland prairie, extending from Texas to Canada. And over all I can see are the Texas Skies”.
